A brief solemn commemoration of all victims of intentional murder of the civil population including the Nazi holocaust, World War II, Cambodia 1975-79, Bosnia 1992, Rwanda 1994, and those of today in the Congo, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, India, Palestine, and Israel.

Demonstration in support of the people of Palestine

Saturday January 17 11.a.m. at the entrance to Albert Park beside the Dorman Museum – a demonstration in support of the people of Palestine will be addressed by Yvonne Ridley, a journalist and campaigner, who has recently sailed into Gaza. There will be a couple of other speakers too.

The demonstration will then form a march along Linthorpe Road to Central Square beside the Town Hall.

This is being organised by Teesside Against the War. A large number of people are expected to gather around the pedestrian area around the War Memorial beside the Dorman Museum.
