Buddhist communities
in Middlesbrough
There are several different schools of Buddhism which are active in Middlesbrough.
Nichiren Buddhists and Zen Buddhists are represented on the Middlesbrough Council of Faiths.
There are also New Kadampa Buddhist and Vadrajana Buddhist groups both of which meet at the Friends Meeting House, 131 Cambridge Road, Middlesbrough.
The New Kadampa Buddhist group (Atisha Buddhist Centre of Darlington) can be contacted on 01325 365265 or 07960 951972. The group normally meets at Middlesbrough Quaker Meeting House, Mondays 7.30-9.30pm.
The Vadrajana Buddhist group (Rangjuns Yeshe UK) meet on alternate Thursday evenings at 7.30pm at Middlesbrough Quaker Meeting House. Contact Marysia Zielke on 01642 852222
